Best Buds: CBD Trials For Our Furry Friends Part 1 main image

Best Buds: CBD Trials for our Furry Friends, is part one of a two-part webinar series. Several clinical trials have been done to learn about CBD affects animals. In this webinar, you’ll learn about challenges with cannabis and cannabidiol research, what research has been done at CSU, and more.

Dr. Stephanie McGrath of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will once again lead us through the sometimes tough-to-navigate research world. With the incredible amount of information on this topic, we’ve split this webinar into two sessions. For those who aren’t familiar Dr. McGrath, she was in charge of many of the clinical trials at CSU. She is considered an industry expert and a leader in animal CBD research.

As a company founded on science and research, Applied Basic Science sponsored several of the trials run by Dr. McGrath,  including a clinical trial for CBD safety in dogs — the only safety trial conducted in the USA for canine CBD — as well as clinical trials for efficacy in treating canine epilepsy and osteoarthritis. We’ve sponsored these trials, and hope to sponsor more in the future, to demonstrate scientifically that our unique compound is safe and efficacious for epilepsy, osteoarthritis, and pain management.

This recorded webinar covers background about CBD for pet clinical trials. Topics included in the webinar:

  • Challenges with cannabis research
