My 13 yr old Pomeranian, Skippy, was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart that is pressing on his trachea causing him to cough. The vet suggested we try to keep him calm as to not stress his heart. Being a Pom, he gets excited! My daughter was dog sitting Skippy and she tried giving Skippy some of your C.H.O. PET to calm him and stop his coughing. He is only about 9 lbs so she only gave him a couple of drops. It worked. He calmed down and stopped coughing. The product seems to be working for my 16-year-old Chihuahua and his arthritis pain in his spine. He’s used it only two weeks but he’s moving his back legs better and don’t seem to be in pain!
One thing that I didn’t like was the extra charge of $10 that you have to add to the advertised price! They might as well tell you that the price is $55.

My small dog is 12 years old and has become very aggressive. The vet. cannot find anything medical that is responsible for pain but we thought the CBD Oil would help calm him. I gave it to him for 3 weeks and it made no difference. I think his problem may be dementia.

I do wish there was a dose between the small dog (15 mg/ml) and the cat/Medium dog (40 mg/ml). I am dosing 2 cats in their food – a total of about 5 mg (so 2-3 mg per cat), so I need to be sure it gets evenly distributed and both are getting some. I go through the small dog bottles quickly. But the cat concentration would be only 2ish drops for that dosage and I am not confident it would get evenly distributed.

I have started to use CHO for coughing due to collapsing trachea in my 11 year old, 10 pound poodle . After 2 weeks of use I would say I have seen a 70% reduction in the amount of coughing. I have him on 3 meds for his seizures (one of those being prednisolone), every time we weened him off of steroids he would start to twitch severely- they said the only other option for my dog was chemo. I refused to out my dog on chemo since he did not have cancer- I did my due diligence and looked up clinical trials/cbd/epilepsy in dogs and found the study that used your brand. Gave it a shot and now my dog is fully off the steroids and hasnt had a full seizure. Randomly twitches but nothing near what he used to.

While I think that the product may have helped with some joint/arthritis issues, it unfortunately majorly changed my pup’s disposition in a very negative way (he became very sedate and non-responsive/interactive). This was also noticed by quite a few other people, so I have taken him off of it. He was back to his old self in no time. Really wish the side effects did not happen, or I would mostly likely use the product.

Our 11 year old yorkie suffers from tracheal collapse and arthritis, and the CBD oil seems to help with both. It has a wonderful calming effect that helps him get through the day and night with less limping and wheezing. Maybe pain relief as well, but when I ask him he just looks at me. He certainly limps less. Be mindful of the dosage, twice the minimum directly in the mouth works well for him, 4 times the minimum greatly enhances his sleep. I’m sure each situation is different. Giving the CBD oil with food does not seem to work as well, maybe ABSC Organics can address this- what should the dosage be with food…? Anyway great product that we will continue to use.

Our French Bulldog, Be Be suffers from cluster seizures. Since she has started taking the CBD oil she has only had one very mild seizure. She takes the CBD .025 twice a day along with phenobarbital 32.4 mg twice a day, potassium bromide 300 mg once a day and zonisamide 50 mg twice a day. It is a lot of meds, but finally she her seizures are under control.
When we added the CBD to the mix her pheonbarbital dose was reduced from 1 1/2 pill twice a day to one pill twice a day.
She is more active, and alert. She is a darling and we want to do all we can to help her. After 2 years of trial and error, adding the CBD has finally helped her. Worth a try.

This product has saved our little girls life….believe it! We have two, 7 pound, 14 year old chihuahuas (sisters). Both have heart disease that has been well managed for the past 4 years. One of our girls also has collapsing trachea and a splenectomy April 2019 really set her back. Her heart disease and trachea issues progressed significantly the last 6 months and got really bad this April. Even with adding diuretics and cough tabs to her list of medications, the inflammation in the bronchia and trachea was really impacting her quality of life…..to the point we started to discuss when we should let her go. She was passing out every couple days, coughing and wheezing, trying to sleep sitting up…not a happy girl. We decided to try CBD, after consulting with our vet , of course. She’s been on CBD for just over 2 weeks and the difference is amazing. Naturally, it won’t cure her. But, it is making what time she has left more comfortable and she’s happy again. She only passes out now every couple weeks when she gets too excited, sleeps through the night (every night) and can even trot (not run) around the house without having a coughing fit and keeling over. She coughs about 10% of what she used to and is bright, alert and looking for treats. She HATES the taste of the oil though, so finding ways to hide it has been a challenge. Like most chihuahuas, she’s very picky. So glad we found this product and now we have something other than opioid based drugs to help our other chihuahua when her heart disease eventually advances.
