My 13 yr old Pomeranian, Skippy, was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart that is pressing on his trachea causing him to cough. The vet suggested we try to keep him calm as to not stress his heart. Being a Pom, he gets excited! My daughter was dog sitting Skippy and she tried giving Skippy some of your C.H.O. PET to calm him and stop his coughing. He is only about 9 lbs so she only gave him a couple of drops. It worked. He calmed down and stopped coughing. I do wish there was a dose between the small dog (15 mg/ml) and the cat/Medium dog (40 mg/ml). I am dosing 2 cats in their food – a total of about 5 mg (so 2-3 mg per cat), so I need to be sure it gets evenly distributed and both are getting some. I go through the small dog bottles quickly. But the cat concentration would be only 2ish drops for that dosage and I am not confident it would get evenly distributed.

I have started to use CHO for coughing due to collapsing trachea in my 11 year old, 10 pound poodle . After 2 weeks of use I would say I have seen a 70% reduction in the amount of coughing.
