Description
2400mg CBD Oil for Giant Breeds and Severe Conditions
The 2400mg is our strongest concentration, built for dogs over 100 lbs or for cases where a standard dose just is not enough. At 80mg of CBD per milliliter, this bottle packs twice the potency of our 1200mg oil, so you can deliver a therapeutic dose without using half the dropper each time.
Who This Is For
Giant breeds like Great Danes, Mastiffs, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands need more CBD per dose simply because of their body weight. A 150-lb dog on a standard 2 mg/kg protocol needs about 136mg of CBD twice daily. With the 2400mg oil, that is roughly 1.7 mL per dose, a practical amount that does not drain the bottle in a week.
This strength also works well for dogs of any size dealing with severe or chronic conditions where a higher dose may help. Some veterinarians recommend higher dosing for refractory epilepsy or advanced arthritis, and this concentration makes that feasible.
Same Clinically Tested Formula
This is the same ABSC Organics full-spectrum extract used in three Colorado State University clinical trials. The 2019 CSU epilepsy study showed 89% of participating dogs had fewer seizures. The osteoarthritis trial documented clear improvements in mobility and pain scores. We just put more of it per milliliter into this bottle.

- Organic MCT coconut oil carrier
- 80mg CBD per mL, 30 mL bottle
- Less than 0.3% THC, non-psychoactive

I am so glad I found ABS. Our PT vet actually gave us two to research and only had yours and one other to suggest bc of the testing being done on each. I am so glad she did! I truly feel it has helped both my dogs. Yes you can share the information, and picture- whatever else you need. I have a ton of pictures of them, let me know if you need another? I do agree the blasto info/side of it is interesting and I think it really has helped Cass because he has NEVER lost his appetite and frankly, any energy, during his fight with it. This is a sickness that kills dogs and he has only once had a flare up and even then, I had him on the 2400mg and he recovered in 24 hours with rimydal added in.

Pricing is high, but worth it. The strength seems to be effective for my two dogs who need the X-Strength. One has IVDD and was paralyzed, has recovered and I think this has helped his pain as well as his anxiety, the other has blastomycosis and has helped his appetite for a disease that is notorious for anorexia.

I feel confident in the quality of the product and appreciate the dosing for my giant breed is already easily calculated so I can be assured he is getting the appropriate dose. I originally began the CBD oil in an attempt to reduce my Newfoundland’s seizure medication after reading about the study with Colorado State Veterinary Medicine and ABSC’s CBD oil. After giving him the CBD oil for 3 months now we have reduced his medication and he is currently at the lowest dose of seizure medication he has been on in over 2 years. I will continue to slowly lower his medication and hopefully remove it all together as long as he continues to stay seizure free. In addition, I can honestly say we have seen a huge difference in his activity level since beginning the oil and even his vet commented on how much better he was moving. I am so pleasantly pleased with the results to date and would highly recommend this product to other dog owners.

My 13 year old puppy girl has gone from having seizures, no appetite and lack of energy, to almost no seizures, regained her appetite and trying to chase squirrels again. For being 13 years of age, I am thrilled to see her back to having stability and enthusiasm in just two weeks. Thank you for your studies and development and to our veterinarian, Dr. Brooke Mowdy for learning of the study and recommending ABSC!!!! We are most appreciative!!!!

We’re using high dose CBD to try and control Grand Mal seizures. He as continued to have 1 about every 6 weeks — as he did before we started CBD. We have increased dosage and will monitor.

It seems like his mobility has improved 30-40% since he has been on CBD oil at the recommended dosage. Any improvement is a big deal for us for quality of life.

Working well for what we wanted for, will continue to buy and would recommend to others going through a similar situation as us.

my only complaint is the dropper doesn’t measure for all the dosages recommended. In using a syringe there seems to be a lot of waste for how expensive the product is.

I don’t know if it’s really helping her but I don’t want to stop using it in case it is

My dog has severe refractory idiopathic epilepsy. She’s on zonisamide, keppra, phenobarbital and topirimate. Her cluster seizures in terms of duration and frequency were so bad that I we considered euthanasia until her neurologist suggested trying this CBD oil. It’s been a god send. She now only averages 1-2 seizures a month. It’s been several months since being on the CBD oil. It has been a game changer!

My husky mix had infrequent idiopathic seizures starting at age 3. They were infrequent enough that the vet recommended a “wait-and-see” approach. Two years later, she had a seizure that she couldn’t stay out of, necessitating a midnight emergency vet visit. The vet advised starting medication. After researching the standard medications and their adverse side effects, I opted to first try CBD oil. I chose ABSC because of their products’ use in clinical trials at CSU vet school (despite a conflict of interest with the lead researcher owning stock in the company). My dog has had only one seizure since starting CBD oil, and has been seizure-free for just over a year. I am so grateful for this product and the positive outcome my dog has had while on it.

I’ve been using this CBD oil for years now for to help with various ailments. I have several dogs and foster as well. I’m currently using it for my 15 year old toy poodle with Cushing’s disease and collapsing trachea. It helps to keep her calm. I’m also using it for my 11 year old foster with epilepsy.

My dog’s infrequent but worsening epileptic seizures have been very well controlled since she started taking ABSC cbd oil. Over time, I’ve discovered the dose that controls her seizures and does not upset her gastrointestinal system, which the cbd oil did do at a higher dose than she is on now.
I highly recommend this product if you have a dog with infrequent epilepsy.
